How different is it from being a sales person and to now building your own brand?.Once a sales person, always a sales person. Be it my music or me as a brand or my sauces. I still consider myself a sales person, even though I am working for myself, because I am still selling something. Sales just seemed to be a natural calling. I definitely knew that I did not want a desk job. Being in sales job is quite challenging for a woman, did you always want to become a sales person?.To close in on any sale, patience is the key. So today, when I run my business, I apply this learning a lot. One key lesson -everyone is a potential customer. I learnt a lot from being a sales person. Can you remember your first sales job and share something which you learnt from it?īefore I was pursuing all my passions, I was a sales person.I think I started applying my sales strategies when I used to ask my parents for pocket money 😊 How was the journey from taking money out of your parent’s pocket to a stranger’s pocket?įrom pocket money days to sales days it’s been quite an eventful journey.I always tell people “You know you’re doing the thing that you love when you’re able to give it 24 hours, 365 days a year.” If I was going to work I wanted to do something I love and hence decided to work on my passions. I didn’t want to be just another person unhappy with their job. Just like most families, I’ve seen financial ups and downs in my family too and hence always wanted to be financially independent. I get all my strength from my mother who always told me to do whatever I want to do. Life is too short to not do what you want. So ya, all these things keep me busy all day. We recently launched a new flavor which has got a fantastic response. I am also an anchor and a voice over artist so that takes up my time too.

This is the season time for my music hence a lot of shows, some big festivals, so a lot of prep work and rehearsals going on.
